I am a collaborative, inquiry-based educator who believes strongly in community-based learning and understandings. I live with my family in Terrace, BC, where I spent the last decade as a community museum curator. I plan to teach in a way that celebrates and emphasises Tsimshian understandings, language, and perspectives. I am passionate about inclusion, reconciliation, and social justice. I want to encourage a love of reading in my students.
